Every note, lyric and sound is repeatedly considered. Consider this; What might be imagined by some listeners to be sloppy or unrefined or too quite or a single instrument dominating, it just might have been designed that way. Perhaps figuring it all out would be fun…?
“I’ve been self inundating with songs for 50 years now. I have played the guitar and written lyrics for decades. My son, Nick, and I have shaped music together for many years now, it’s who we are.”
Classic hard rock opening, love the mixture of bass and drums in the intro, perfect high energy, especially with the real basic bass undertones. I think the vocals match immensely, sung with just enough grit and energy. Even the very very subtle synth tones bring extra life to the track. I’m a big fan of the bridge / solo but the chorus is where it blows me away the most.
This track gives me very big surf rock vibes but a medium amount of heavier and I think its great. I was surprised by the vocals at first but they work perfectly with the melodic, synthy hardcore. I enjoy the vocal highlight during the bridge followed by the higher octave. The outro is great as well; the whole track is consistent with the groove.
