“Gentle Warrior” is a cinematic, meditative fusion track inspired by Gautama Buddha’s Dhammapada. It combines Indian santoor, Japanese koto, and electronic textures to create a transcendent soundscape. This song tells story of a lone-hero monk-warrior who walks alone across the mountains and desert in order to retrieve the Buddha’s ancient scripts in order to seek the highest wisdom. Reflecting themes of resilience, self-mastery, and inner peace, blending traditional and futuristic sounds into a genre YOSKI calls Global Pop Fusion.
A true polymath, YOSKI draws inspiration from the greats like Leonardo Da Vinci, Plato, Aristotle, and Gautama Buddha. He writes, sings, plays, and produces all of his own music, seamlessly integrating his multi-faceted careers as a world-record helicopter pilot, artistic gymnast, classical pianist, and Buddhist monk into his artistry.
