Self proclaimed Anxious-Rockers from Brooklyn recently released their newest single ‘Housefire.”
The song starts out with very nice and smooth instrumentals, giving off a major impression of a California surf song, but diverts throughout with edgy reprieves. Prominent signals of drama infused notes lead to moments of unrest, quickly tied back together with high octave and engaging chorus and a particularly smashing breakdown / outro blend.
From the band: “The song is about those self-doubt doom spirals we all face when we are working on something, where you start question your own taste and ability to make something good.”
The Upstart Crows is: Jon Adams – Guitar / Vocals | Adam Becker – Bass | Aaron Takiff- drums
