Sweden’s Astro-Lloyd delivers An alternative rock anthem infused with the energy of pop-punk and hints of pop! ‘Milhouse’ captures the universal feeling of life moving too fast to keep up, wrapped in an upbeat, feel-good melody and irresistibly catchy choruses. It’s nostalgic yet undeniably fresh, making it the perfect soundtrack for those fleeting moments that demand to be celebrated.
‘Milhouse,’ another fan favorite from “Planet Unknown”, is a reimagined track that captures the emotional turbulence of feeling stuck in a loop, with lyrics that resonate and a driving beat that never lets go. It’s a song that defined Astro-Lloyd’s early years and now stands as a testament to their growth.
“We love how this version turned out,” the band shares. “It’s fast, raw, and everything it needs to be—just like the old days, but better.”
The band also released a revitalized version of “Aim for the Bushes”, a high-energy anthem originally featured on their debut EP “Planet Unknown” in 2014. Known for its adrenaline-pumping intro and an explosive transition into the chorus just 20 seconds in, the re-recorded track showcases Astro-Lloyd’s evolution while staying true to the vibrant, fast-paced, and unforgettable spirit that defines their sound.
“When we first recorded this track ten years ago, we were still figuring things out,” says the band. “This version feels like the one we always envisioned—more power, more energy, more us.”
These tracks are part of Astro-Lloyd’s December advent calendar, a month-long celebration of their music and journey. The calendar includes daily surprises, such as behind-the-scenes content, giveaways, and exclusive material that brings fans closer to the band’s unique humor and personality.
Astro-Lloyd has spent a decade carving out a name for themselves on the Nordic rock scene, blending raw energy with emotional depth. Earlier this year, they released the EP “Let’s Get Weird”, showcasing their versatility while continuing the momentum of their 2023 album, “LOUD NOISES”. With a loyal and growing fanbase, Astro-Lloyd remains a force to be reckoned with—both on stage and in the studio.
