Autogenic are from the UK, we are an Alt Rock / Grunge outfit; a 90’s base, re-imagined and sprinkled with a 21st century grit. Their track, ‘Somewhere I Belong,’ fits that bill quite nicely.
Its a good example of gritty hard rock. At first I wasn’t fully into the tempo, I prefer a good fast, high energy track but once the track got fully underway, I was happy to have it hit the right speed for me. The chorus is good but i like the post-chorus bridge and main bridge as my favorite parts of the song. I think the guitars compliment each other very well between the chord progressions and riffing.
